3 Oct- Karoo N P to Camdeboo NP (Graaf-Reinet)

Another chilly night dropping to 5 deg but were rewarded with stunning stars.
The camp site had notices warning one to check under your car for tortoises before driving off!! Apparently they crawl under for shade.

Drove around the park today and saw much the same animals as yesterday, just in a different area. Really enjoyed seeing the Cape Mountain Zebra with their pure bold black and white stripes (no Brown in between like the Burchells)

Left the park and drove through Beaufort-West and on to Graaff Reinet through typical Karoo country side.

We are at Camdeboo NP camp site, just outside Graaff-Reinet, for the evening (R123pp). There are two cute baby Pole Cats around our site. Just seen a hare with ears bigger than Bugs Bunny's !!!

Sat at the hide and watched the sun set.

Later when having our coffee and gazing at the starts we saw 4 satellites and 1 shooting star, the atmosphere was so clear.
