6 Oct - Mountain Zebra NP to Cannon Rocks

Weather has definitely warmed up because the kids from next door were up running around at 06.30...We obviously also had an early start!!
Drove out through the park but didn't see many animals. Headed for Craddock where we bumped into many Natalian canoests down for The Fish.
Carried on passed Grahamstown to Cannon Rocks. Settled into a lovely camp site (R100 pp) then had a stroll around the area (that is where we saw the tree house) and then to the beach. It was very windy and there were quite a few kiteboarders out practicing for the competition this weekend.
Ebeth and Johan picked us up and drove us around this lovely holiday resort and then to their home for a delicious dinner (Different Braai) as Johan had said. He has made a hot plate inset in a lovely wooden board so each couple cooked their own rump at the table..such a clever idea as your meat is alway hot and exactly as you like it.
Of course Lexi (their dog) provided us with much entertainment chasing the laser beam, even running between our legs if we were in her way. She also rides on the scooter with Johan.
