We had another lazy start to the day partly because it was quite chilly. After breakfast we went for a walk in the indigenous forest which is really lovely.
After setting off for Alice the road also winds through the indigenous forest for a little way...other than that it was normal E.Cape scenery.
There is nothing to write home about re Alice! nor Fort Beaufort! One thing that stood out probably, because of the strong wind, was the plastic bags stuck along the fences!!
Stopped at Grahamstown which still has a lovely old charm to it.
Arrived at Addo about 3.30.pm.
Well laid out and organised camp site. (R154pppn)
