A nice slow start - that is the theme for this meandering holiday. Stopped off at Asburton Butchery to stock up on their wonderful biltong. If you want an excellent pie...stop in at Utrastop at the Nottingham Road off ramp.. they are amazing... The mountain tops are covered in snow and the terrain is very dry but beautiful. Booked in to Cayley Lodge which is very well equipped. It has one of the best berg views. Having an indoor braai tonight.
