Had a meeting with the estate agent managing the Knysna properties and visited the old home where we spent many happy holidays.

Went to the waterfront for lunch which also brought back many great memories. Drove around Thesen's Island which is now developed and has hundreds of homes on it. Unfortunately the old oyster factory which Knysna was famous for, has closed down.

We did the mandatory drive up to the Heads. One never tires of the magnificent view.

There have been a lot of positive changes and development in Knysna and it appears to be on the up again and looking good. The restaurants, shops and roads are quite busy for out of season.
