18 Aug - Baviaanskloof to Knysna

Spent the day driving through Baviaanskloof. The road is shocking and I don't think they have done any serious maintenance on it in 20 years, despite a large sign stating the name of the contractor who is meant to be repairing it !!!
Despite the road, the scenery is breath taking and was worth the drive.
We then came through Prince Alfred pass which is also lovely and a far better road.
Arrived in Knysna at 7 pm in the pouring rain and checked into Woodbourne (R70 pppn) and went straight out to supper to celebrate my Birthday.
We had a wonderful meal, great wine and very good service at Blend
