12 Sept - Seeheim to Kgalagadi Lodge

Woke to many farm animal sounds this morning.
The picture of the Baboon was in the pub (no relation of Basil's!!)
The hotel was expecting two bus loads of people...obviously a good stop over in the middle of nowhere. The original house was built in 1895.
Left Seeheim and went into Keetmamshoop to replenish supplies.
Crossed through the border out of Namibia (Klein Menasse) and into SA(Rietfontein) Both border posts where quiet and they were a pleasure for a change.
The scenery today was nothing to write home about but the distances passed by listening to an exciting audible book.
It is amazing how the plants can produce flowers, let alone live in the desert.
Kgalagadi Park is fully booked (apparently it is" In Season " werein this area) so is the popular Molopo lodge fully booked.
Drove on to Kgaladadi lodge/camping which is lovely and perhaps better as it is right outside the Park gate. We have our own immaculate new abulition with paved braai, car port and washup area.(R135pp) . We are sitting having sundowners and enjoying Springbok Cappachio which Jane and Tommy gave us before we left on our trip.
