31Aug - Kamieskroon to Springbok

Spent the morning driving in the mountains towards the coast looking for flowers. The weather forecast said we were in for a chilly day and they were right.
We came across a huge bank of cloud and mist and decided that the coast would be even colder and the flowers would be
closed, so turned around and headed for Springbok...back to Winter for a day or two.

Drove to Okiep and Concordia where we found huge fields of flowers, mainly the orange daisies. Quite a sight.

Drove back to Springbok where we caught up with shopping, laundry etc. and got the braai wood bin welded..too much weight over bumpy roads had done some damage. Springbok Camp site (R85pp)

That's about the end of the main flowers for this trip as we are now heading out of civilization into The Richtersveld for at least a week. As it is so dry, I don't think there will be many flowers there.
